Once your target audience is configured, click "Configure" at the top of the survey to reach the survey summary page. This page gives you a full overview of your questionnaire and audience settings before submission.
Tools Available on the Summary Page
- Open Simulator opens a mobile phone simulation showing exactly how your survey will appear to respondents in the Appinio app.
- Download PDF generates a PDF overview of the entire project, including the survey summary, target audience settings, and all questions.
- Create public preview link generates a shareable link that allows you or your teammates to click through the survey for a final review.
Submitting Your Survey
When you are satisfied that everything is correct, click "Submit for review." One of Appinio's research consultants will review your survey within one working day and reach out with any recommendations or adjustments before the survey goes live.
Survey Statuses
After submission, you can track the progress of your survey through the following stages:
- Survey Created - the survey has been set up but not yet submitted for review.
- In Review - the survey has been submitted and is being reviewed by the Appinio research consulting team. You can still make changes to your draft at this stage.
- Submitted - the survey has been approved and formally submitted for fieldwork. No further changes can be made from this point onward.
- Live - the survey is live and responses are being collected.
- Quality Check - data collection is complete and the results are undergoing a quality check.
- Completed - the survey is complete and your results are ready to explore in the dashboard.
