Study design

Our approach

For our first Travel Spotlight, we surveyed 1000 Britons between the age of 16 and 65, making up a nationally representative sample according to age and gender in the United Kingdom.

 

Our report provides data and reveals how consumer behaviour is changing among the British population in terms of travel and the emerging trends present in the sector. Among other elements, it addresses the following questions: 

 

  1. Who will travelling in the UK this year? Who will be traveling abroad this year? 
  2. What are the preferred accommodation types at the moment and how have these changed over time?
  3. What is the ideal trip length when travelling within the UK? How does it compare when travelling abroad? 
  4. What are the preferred international travel destinations?
  5. How do the Britons generally feel about travel insurance?


  6. What role do cancellation policies play? How important are they when travelling?
