Numeric sliders and NPS

The Numeric Slider and Net Promoter Score (NPS) question types capture feedback on a numerical scale. The Numeric Slider is flexible and can be used for a range of measurement needs, while NPS is specifically designed to measure customer loyalty or likelihood to recommend.

Configuration Options

  • Instructions for participants lets you add a short note explaining the scale to respondents, for example "0 = very unlikely, 10 = very likely." This field has a maximum of 70 characters.
  • Minimum and Maximum set the lowest and highest values respondents can select.
  • Step size defines the increment between selectable values. For example, a step size of 1 on a 0 to 10 scale allows respondents to select any whole number in that range.
  • Unit lets you attach a unit of measurement to the results, such as %, euros, or any other label up to 19 characters.

Output NPS results are displayed as a score ranging from -100 to 100, broken down into Detractors (0 to 6), Passives (7 to 8), and Promoters (9 to 10). The dashboard also shows the average score, standard deviation, and median.
