He will also assume the legal role of Managing Director (MD or "Geschäftsführer"), joining CEO and Co-Founder Max Honig in the leadership team.
For the past four years, Bernd has been a driving force behind Appinio's financial operations. As Director of Finance, he has been responsible for building the company's entire financial and legal backbone, from global forecasting and budgeting to legal compliance and business analytics. His promotion is a clear recognition of his exceptional performance and strategic contributions, reflecting the company's organizational maturity.
In his new role, Bernd will oversee Appinio's financial operations, business analytics, and strategic planning. His focus will be on translating financial insights into strategic decisions that enable sustainable, fast-paced growth.
